Be careful of letters or emails being sent to you unsolicited asking you to pay for a domain name.
We are aware of a number of companies who send bogus domain renewal “invoices” to existing domain owners. In most cases the invoice is for a domain that you don’t currently have but is a close match (eg they try selling the .net.au if you have the .com.au or perhaps a misspelled domain).
We warn all clients that they should not pay any attention to letters or emails sent to them by companies that they have no prior dealings with.
All domain registration renewals we manage for our clients will ALWAYS be sent from Creative Chaos.
Please check your domain registration invoices carefully to ensure you are not caught up in this type of scam.
